David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

The Sheldrick Elephant Sanctuary is open daily between 11am and noon every day for the general public to visit. The cost is KES 500 per person. It is advisable to get there at 10:30 as the queues can be quite long.   

Our visit is arranged through Somak Travel. 

The centre reopens at 17:00 by appointment for people who have adopted an Elephant. We have adopted an Elephant but unfortunately will not be able to make the second visit on the day we are there.
